The Author |
It may seem odd to you, but our laws prohibit the unmonitored and sometimes thoughtless act of creation. With so much free matter aloof in the universe, one with enough imagination and a pen can create just about anything. Ever since The Author was small, unknown creatures of unknown origin began appearing unknowingly.
The Author reminds me to inform you that she didn't do it because she wanted to, she created because she had to. Things want to exist, always have and always will, but sometimes things exist for the wrong reasons.
When one of her own creations nearly killed her, she vowed never to take up the pen again (besides the fact our elders prohibited it). Instead, she would seek out these creations that others brought into being. Searching and observing the habits of other literary monsters, creatures, and animals that inhabit the universe and documenting them in this field guide. To better understand them and to better understand herself.
She once said, "One does not need to put a value on life since it all stands on level ground." And, I believe she just said it again as I wrote it here for you to read.
