Dear Reader, 

What you will find in these pages will far exceed the imagination, force your darkest fears to surface, and make you see things you never knew existed. I, The Author, invite you to experience all literature has to offer by following me and my companion, the Penman, on our journey to discover the beasts and creatures that were created from the written word. While you may not believe it, the pen is mightier than the sword where I come from and you will discover more than any sword could ever create!

Inferno breathing dragons, other-world entities, & cautious critters await you with every new entry.

Side winding rivers, vast oceans, desolate mountains, and forbidden woods are just some of the places we will visit to discover these sometimes forgotten but important creatures.

Once we discover a new monster I...excuse me, the Penman, will update the entry. Since many of these creatures are extremely dangerous I will try to provide enough information in each entry so you can avoid any such encounters with these deadly denizens. While the Penman may be afraid to get close, I will look a giant spider in the eyes and shake its hand if only to get its name! Don't worry, we will do all the exploring so you, the reader, can enjoy these creatures from a (safe) distance.

P.S. Provided there are no unforeseen circumstances or animal attacks, The Author and I will update the field guide every week so check back often!
